'g' is happy to offer this exciting new product that offers superior energy savings. Solarize Inflector Window Systems are brilliant see-through window coverings that save you Winter heating and Summer air-conditioning costs! The company manufactured these window systems to address an unfortunate fact: Windows are the weakest link in any building's energy performance.
The details: One side of this window covering has essentially a white surface while the reverse side is black. There are several styles to choose from: single panel or split panels install directly into your window pane. You can also opt for a roller-shade or vertical shades. Each style is reversible, and the idea is to face the white side out in the summer, to reflect the sun's rays and cool your home, and have the darker side facing out in the winter to absorb the sun and create a pocket of heat to insulate your home. And, while we're calling the sides "white" and "black", they have the appearance of a screen so they let light in and you can see through them in both directions. An added benefit is that while light does pass through the Solarize Inflector, the harsh glare of the sun is cut, so it makes the natural light much more comfortable on the eyes!
A Solarize Inflector Roller Shade hangs in the window of the 'g' showroom in Mashpee.
We did a bit of investigative work at our 'g' showroom in Mashpee where we've installed a Solarize Inflector roll-up blind. Using an infrared handheld temperature gauge, we tested temperatures of the wall, our large window (that takes up almost the entire front of the store), and the new Solarize Inflector shade hanging in the window. Take a look at what we found out!
The insulated wall next to the window reads 64º.
The glass window beams in at a chilly 45º...
And the Solarize Inflector shade hanging inches from the 45º window reads 64º! The window is almost 20 degrees warmer with the Solarize Inflector!
Just to get an idea of the implications of these findings...The heat was set to 69º in the showroom. While the 46º window was both leaking cool air in and sucking warm air out (in order to create an equilibrium), when the window was heated up to 64 degrees with the Solarize Inflector, an equilibrium is essentially reached so the warm air will stay put, and a pocket of warm air in between the shade and the window creates an insulating layer that cold air does not travel through. Incredible! We agree with the manufacturers that it's "Time to stop throwing your money out the window," and check out this amazing product today!

Wow all great stuff , better cheaper , less invasive . Looks like the real deal , an I need new blinds , anyway. !TKS
pretty discouraging to see only one comment and that by a blog-spambot (here's another from it:

So -- any followup? I found one claimed test, actually a 'simulation' and various mentions.
The product is apparently available under a lot of different names and descriptions -- each claiming to be the inventor.
Anyone at 'ggreendesign' able to follow up?
