Product Spotlight: All Natural Bamboo Bedding Sets by Dreamsacks Bamboo Dreams

Nothing says "I love you" (or "I love me") like a new set of richly (and all-naturally) colored and luxuriously soft 100% bamboo bedding.  New to us, we are excited to announce that we now carry Dreamsacks Bamboo Dreams Bedding.  And from us to you, these sheets, pillow cases and comforter covers really are a dream!  They are offered in the 5 colors below plus the sienna, seen above. Bedding appears to be one more niche offering of the sustainable wonder, bamboo.

You might wonder if there are any specific reasons to choose bamboo over cotton, and in fact, there are.  Bamboo is known for growing quite quickly and is therefor considered to be a renewable source.  It also does not have many natural pests.  In contrast, cotton (unless organically grown) typically is predated and requires pesticides in production, as well as more than twice the amount of water needed by bamboo to grow.

Seen above: Green Tea, Rain, Natural Undyed, Almond, Chocolate

An alternative to synthetics for sure (most of which require great amounts of energy and/or petroleum-based products), and seemingly more environmentally responsible than cotton, there are other reasons to turn to bamboo for bedding.  Another is it's anti-microbial properties.  Bamboo has a natural element that deems it resistant to bacteria and odors - we think that's pretty important for something you sleep on every night!

The machine-washable (and tumble-dry-able) bedding by Dreamsacks can be purchased by sheet sets in Twin, Queen, King or California King, comforter covers in Queen or King, with additional pillowcases sold separately.  While full sets are not stocked on site, you will want to stop in to choose your color in person, and then we can have them shipped directly to you.  So, whether you get them as a gift to yourself this holiday season or as a present for a loved one, stop in to 'g' today to select a color and place your order!  You owe it to yourself to "Dream in the luxurious softness of bamboo..."
