Green Remodeling for Kitchens and Baths - 2 workshop sessions in January

Find 'g' Green Design Center Founder Nicole Goldman instructing a 2-hour workshop on Green Remodeling for Kitchens and Baths for the Sandwich Community School tomorrow, Tuesday January 12th, 6-8 @ Sandwich High School.

Homeowners thinking about remodeling projects may consider making their projects more eco-friendly, energy-efficient and healthy.  Green remodeling has become easier and more affordable as new products come on the market.  Interior designer Nicole Goldman has been creating green homes on the Cape since 2005 and will introduce you to the variety of selections, approaches to design, elements for energy conservation and why choosing non-toxic materials is important in any home project.  Students are encouraged to bring their home plans or ideas which will be addressed during the course of the evening.

Later this month, come to our Mashpee showroom for a similar workshop, "Creating Green Kitchens and Baths."  Saturday, January 22nd we invite homeowners and contractors alike to join us from 11AM-noon.  We will be looking at all of the materials you need for your project, and how to choose green for each element.  The heart of every home can be a healthy, safe environment with a careful selection of materials and finishes. Learn about cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tiling, lighting and more and how and why to select green materials for your home. The $25 fee for this session can be credited towards your first purchase of $250 or more towards your building project.
Register HERE.

Besides being your source for all the green building materials, we strive to be your information resource to help YOU make the best green design decisions for you.

Love that you're sharing with people how to remodel in an eco-friendly way. Being "green" must extend to all aspects of our life - even in DIY.

Way to go!
