New Years Reality Check...and a workshop to help make and meet green resolutions!

It's now a few weeks into the New Year, which means it's time for a reality check.  How are you doing on your green resolutions?  Are you exasperated because you've quickly forgotten that it does take a little time and planning to make the greener choices?

Some options to incorporate?
Starting a home compost...Switching to biodegradable cleaning products...Prioritizing VOC-free paints for your home projects...Remembering to bring your reusable shopping bags to the grocery store (it's not enough to just own them)...Installing a water filtration system on your tap to avoid purchasing bottled water...There are ways all of us can tread more lightly on the earth.  We're happy to sit down with you for a consult at 'g' and can talk about realistic budget and health priorities for your first or next green[er] steps.

If you need to step back and figure out how you can best resolve to make a fresh, green start, you can also come to a fun and informative community event at the Eldredge Public Library in Chatham.  On Friday, January 28th at noon, Nicole Goldman, Founder and President of 'g', will provide her insights and methods for cleaning, reducing energy, and creating a smaller footprint in your work and in your home as part of the Library's New Year’s Resolution program series:  “How Do I Begin…To Go Green?”  Get an insider’s view on how to simply and inexpensively change your lifestyle to a more eco-friendly, energy-efficient and healthy way of living. Call 508-945-5170 for reservations and additional information.

You've given some great tips here! Composting is something I added to my green regime in 2008 and it is wonderful. Every little bit counts. The more we as individuals can instill these eco-friendly practices, the more we can bring them into businesses to have an even larger impact.

Keep up the great work!
