Looking for a fun summer activity with the kids this week?

Well it just so happens that this is peak berry picking season! Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries galore! Get 'em while they're ripe!

Berry picking is an excellent opportunity to each your kids where their food comes from.  Plus you can rest assured that your food it fresh... you picked it yourself! 

Have fun exploring the fields and know that you are supporting local farmers. And if you don't have time to go picking yourself at the moment, don't forget about your local farm stand or farmer's market. Both are a great alternative to the food store!

By eating locally you will also be helping to reduce your carbon footprint!
